You might have better luck trying to get a power tool and reach around blind to undo the bracket near the door crack/window. Might as well bust through the drywall at that point lol

Feb 21, 2013 - there are other options without having to use a bar. Door jamb armor is clearly stronger as it uses up more studs and a lot more screws, however it is a lot harder to install. I like this bar because of the ability to open door for a peak, however door jamb armor protects the door in like 4 different areas rather and in a wider coverage so it is the winner.
